With the doors scheduled to open at 2 p.m. the guests began arriving proptly at 1 P.M.

The Ship's Store was a popular stopping spot on the way into the clubhouse.

Slowly, the chairs multiplied.

The wine was opened.

Larry Schwartz's squares were filled.

The National Anthem was sung.

The coin was flipped.

. . . and the game began.

There were door prizes.

When the sun went down the tarps came down.
